GRANGER HIGH SCHOOL

The Granger High School was awarded to our team in May of 2011, in the shadow of a national financial crisis of the 2008 recession. Physically, the largest school in the State of Utah, the school is nearly 448,000 sq.ft. and is located on an 18-acre site adjacent to an operating high school.

With two other major high schools being built in the area at the same time, demands for resources from the contracting community to staff these great projects was at an all time high.

From the onset of construction and resulting from numerous owner initiated change order items and schedule impacts, Steel Encounters handled each challenge in a prompt and fair manner - thrilling the Owner, G.C. and the students with final results. The school opened (early) for the 2013 summer school and graduation celebration beating the original schedule of the fall of 2013.

"Through our partnership with Steel Encounters on this project, Jacobsen is proud to showcase this school as a success in thrilling the client. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with your company. Steel Encounters is the kind of subcontractor that we love working with. Please share this thank you with your team and please invite future clients to contact me with any specific questions about your capabilities or performance."  ~ Heather Talenah Project Manager | Jacobsen Construction Company
